(west turn off Main St./Route 1, about 1 mile north of downtown)

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC from 10:00-4:00; no admission charged to the public. A catered kitchen will be serving all day with a reasonably-priced menu. The Community Center is a fully handicap-accessible building with easy access from Route 1 and plentiful parking.
PROMOTION is extensive, including press releases to publications from Bangor and Houlton through to Fort Kent, online listings on Maine events calendars, posters all around the area, notice on channel 8, and as the time nears paid advertising in local newspapers. We sincerely hope these concerted efforts, combined with a steadily growing reputation, will produce results for our vendors.
CRAFTERS & ARTISANS in all media without restriction are invited to join us; but we do limit participation for quality handcrafted or home-produced items only, made by you personally or by members of your league or group. To qualify, items offered as handcrafts must show that talent and effort are more significant than the maaterials used; in fairness to all exhibitors, inventory will be checked at the show and questionable items disallowed.
Crafter setup from 8:00; no breakdown before doors closed to public (early breakdowns will not be allowed to return). Chairs and tables available free of charge for indoor use; your responsibility to set up and return to storage closet.
A contribution for our popular 'cup auction' is required as advertising to showcase your inventory. Plan on something affordable but appealing that will lead buyers to you; for each item contributed you will receive 5 auction tickets. Drawings start at noon with a free lunch, continuing with assorted items every hour until the mass auction at 3:00; at the end, all 'losing' tickets will be entered in a second-chance drawing for $10.
WHAT'S AVAILABLE? -- Choose from a variety of vendor spaces to best suit your needs.
This year we offer indoor booths in various
sizes in the entrance lobby, gym and Michaud Room (where our cup auction will be located to ensure good traffic flow). Vendors with garden/yard items, or those whose inventory is a challenge to set up indoors, may find the outdoor areas surrounding the
building more appealing since that allows for nearby or adjacent vehicle parking, canopies, display trailers, etc. Indoor spaces are reserved; outdoor spaces are first-come-first-choice; show goes on regardless of weather. See the application form
below for details on pricing from $10-35, significantly lower than many fairs because we are primarily concerned with showcasing our Aroostook County talent rather than making the most money possible. You can print off the form or simply send us the
required information with your check.
Late-comers -- If we can find a way to fit you in we will be happy to do so. However, applications received after April 30 will be assessed a $5 late charge.
